PM What You'll Do:
Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and agency personnel at a government location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate. Monitor access points, verify authorization for entry, and maintain accurate visitor, vehicle, and activity logs in accordance with established procedures. Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, coordinating with appropriate personnel and emergency responders when needed. Conduct regular and random armed patrols of government buildings, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns. Prepare clear, detailed reports of incidents, observations, and daily activities, and maintain readiness of assigned equipment in accordance with applicable policies and training.
Minimum Requirements:
Possess 3+ years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience, or a college degree. Possess a concealed carry weapons permit. Be a graduate of a law enforcement or military police training program or equivalent. Possess an armed guard card or license. Possess a corrections officer license. Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Participate in industry-specific security training programs. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
