Job Description As a Security Officer Access Entrance in Prosperity, SC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor entry points, manage badges and access permissions, respond to alarm panel activity, and conduct routine patrols to help deter incidents. PM What You'll Do:
Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel by carrying out site-specific access-control procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at an industrial manufacturing location. Monitor access points, verify credentials and authorization, issue visitor badges and/or temporary access credentials, and maintain accurate entry and exit records. Control vehicle and pedestrian access to the facility, direct approved visitors and vendors to designated areas, and report unauthorized access attempts or unusual activity. Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate site contacts and emergency responders as directed by policy. Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, parking areas, and the business perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
Minimum Requirements:
Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. Alarm panel experience is preferred. Access control and badge experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
