Job Summary We are seeking a vigilant and disciplined Armed Security Officer to safeguard our premises, personnel, and assets. Your expertise in firearm handling, conflict management, and emergency procedures will ensure the safety of all individuals on-site. Responsibilities Conduct regular patrols of the facility Respond swiftly to security incidents, including alarms, disturbances, or emergencies, following established protocols. Write detailed incident reports documenting security breaches, accidents, or other significant events accurately and promptly. Perform background checks on new employees or visitors as part of the security clearance process. Operate emergency response procedures effectively, including fire safety protocols, AED operation, CPR administration, and first aid assistance. Utilize law enforcement knowledge and conflict de-escalation techniques to manage tense situations professionally and safely. Qualifications Proven experience in security roles, with a strong background in law enforcement or military service preferred. Valid firearm handling certification and familiarity with Taser use are required. Demonstrated ability to perform manual handling tasks and heavy lifting when necessary for security operations. Certified in first aid, CPR, AED operation, and emergency response procedures. Excellent conflict management skills with the ability to de-escalate tense situations effectively. Strong understanding of security regulations, compliance standards, and incident report writing practices.
