Immediately About the Position CJC Security & Investigation is seeking a dependable, professional unarmed security guard to provide overnight site protection at La Sienna Park in Edinburg. This is a visible, patrol-based post focused on protecting property, enforcing park rules, and maintaining a safe environment for residents and visitors. Duties and Responsibilities Protect the property, grounds, and park facilities from damage, theft, trespassing, and unauthorized use Conduct hourly foot and/or vehicle patrols of the lakes and all designated areas Monitor lake areas and ensure no fishing takes place; politely advise and enforce the no-fishing policy Observe, report, and document all incidents, violations, and suspicious activity Provide a courteous, professional presence and assist visitors as needed Contact law enforcement or emergency services when required Complete accurate daily activity reports and patrol logs Requirements Valid Texas DPS Level II non-commissioned security officer registration (pocket card) — required Valid Texas driver's license and Social Security card Must pass a criminal background check 18 years of age or older Able to work overnight shifts, 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM Able to stand and walk for extended periods and patrol outdoors in all weather conditions Strong observation, communication, and report-writing skills Professional appearance and reliable attendance Compensation Competitive hourly pay based on experience, paid bi-weekly.
