  • Full-time Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender/Server to join our Rock Island team.
The ideal candidate will possess a passion for mixology and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for creating and serving beverages, maintaining the bar area, and ensuring a memorable experience for our guests. We are looking for a candidate that can also step in and fill the role as a server when needed. Responsibilities Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences. Engage with customers to provide recommendations and take drink orders efficiently. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and restocking supplies as needed. Handle cash transactions accurately and responsibly, ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed. Collaborate with kitchen staff and other team members to ensure smooth service during busy periods. Monitor customer behavior and intervene when necessary to ensure a safe environment for all patrons. Manage and Order liquor, wine, and beer for restaurant when needed Stay informed about new drink trends, techniques, and menu items to enhance the guest experience. Duties will include... Greet and seat customers in a friendly and professional manner
  • Must learn the menu as reads to the guest Provide menu recommendations and answer customer inquiries
  • Informing guests of daily additions Upsell additional products when appropriate
  • Take food and drink orders accurately
  • Deliver orders promptly and ensure accuracy
  • Handle cash transactions and process payments
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders
  • Follow daily opening & closing checklists
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization in the dining area Qualifications Previous experience in bartending or related roles in fine dining, restaurants, nightclubs, or catering is preferred.
Strong knowledge of beverage preparation techniques, including brewing methods and cocktail mixing. Excellent customer service skills with a friendly demeanor and ability to engage with diverse clientele. Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. A passion for hospitality and creating memorable experiences for guests is essential. 2+ years serving experience in a full service restaurant Experience in bussing, food safety, cash handling, and time management Knowledge of food industry practices and food preparation techniques
