Full Job Description Job Summary:

Responsible for training and leading the facility cleaning and sanitation team. This includes, and is not limited to, offices, entranceways, breakrooms, locker rooms, restrooms, and custodial closets. Execute, inspect, and document cleaning activities listed within area cleaning logs. Monitoring stock inventory levels and working with facility admin supervisor to order as needed.

Job Functions:

1. Onboarding and training of new team members 2. Keeps accurate records of inventory while ordering with facility admin supervisor 3. Notifies management concerning building, equipment repairs, and Food Defense related items 4. Maintains uniform and linen supply rotation 5. Work with Quality team to clean for environmental swabs & water samples 6. Weekly chemical testing 7. Chemical labeling audits 8. Inspect and audit for cleanliness 9. Effectively communicate to management when issues or concerns arise 10. Work with management on continuous improvement topics 11. Prepare monthly logs and sign-off sheets using Microsoft Office 12. Clean and sanitize all items listed within cleaning logs 13. Monitor facility conditions and respond to areas or situations that require cleaning 14. Monitor facility waste bins and empty daily or as needed 15. Perform other job functions as required 16. Oversee rotation of custodial team to ensure facility has adequate coverage

Qualifications:

1. High School degree or equivalent 2. 2+ years in custodial & sanitation within a manufacturing environment

1. Must be able to read, write, and understanding English; bilingual preferred 2. Capable of working efficiently while working safely 3. Excellent communication skills 4. Ability to teach others effectively 5. Self-motivated, dependable, and high integrity 6. Fluent with inventory control 7. Detail oriented 8. Positive personality 9. Ability to follow and complete instructions 10. Ability to lift heavy containers (20-40 lbs) consistently 11. Must have the ability to come in early and/or stay late on occasion with short notice 12. Ability to manage team members 13. Good work ethic reflected through working with sense of urgency, and excellent attendance and punctuality
