This is a part time internship and will close 5/26/2026 US Synthetic has an immediate need for a Student Engineer - Customer Relations located in Orem, UT . The Student Engineer - Customer Relations will assist Process Engineer/Specialist with all aspects of assigned process and related machines. What You Will Do:

Assist Engineer/Specialist with all aspects of assigned process and related machines Troubleshooting Assist production operators with machine malfunctions; assist maintenance when needed Assist production floor with quality improvements Own and be a part of PDCAs for the process Learn and apply Six Sigma principles Create, audit and maintain standard works operators to use for training on process, i.e. Critical Knowledge and Job Breakdown Sheets Run and train others in process meetings Work a flexible schedule based around school schedule Follow all company policies (Attendance, No Tobacco Products on Campus, Illegal Drug & Alcohol, Family Medical Leave Act, Personal Appearance, Personal Electronic Devices, Vacation & Personal Time, etc.)

Minimum Qualifications:

High school diploma/GED is required Immigration sponsorship not available for this role Must have been accepted to a bachelor's engineering program at a university with intent to graduate

Physical Demands:

Combination of sitting, standing and walking for eight or more hours Occasional repetitive motions Use of Safety Equipment (Safety glasses, Steel-toed boots)
