Lead HVAC Installer

Duties Lead the installation of HVAC systems, including air conditioning units, boilers, refrigeration systems, and related equipment, ensuring adherence to schematics and design specifications Oversee and coordinate field service operations, managing multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining safety standards and quality control Diagnose system issues using tools such as ohmmeters and troubleshoot mechanical or electrical failures in HVAC/R equipment Collaborate with clients to understand their needs, provide expert advice on system design or upgrades, and ensure customer satisfaction Perform maintenance, repairs, and upgrades on HVAC units, plumbing systems, refrigeration equipment—including ammonia refrigeration—and appliances as needed Mentor and supervise junior installers and technicians to promote best practices in construction, installation techniques, and safety procedures Maintain detailed documentation of work performed, including schematics interpretation, service reports, and compliance records Skills Extensive experience in construction-related HVAC installation projects with a strong mechanical aptitude Experience with Service Titan, our Field Service Management system is preferred Proven service technician experience with refrigeration systems, plumbing, appliance repair, and property maintenance Ability to read and interpret schematics and HVAC design plans accurately Knowledge of HVAC/R systems including air conditioning units, boilers, ammonia refrigeration systems, and related mechanical components Skilled in using diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters for electrical troubleshooting; proficient with welding and equipment repair techniques Familiarity with field service operations involving property maintenance or appliance servicing in various environments Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; experience operating drivers or similar vehicles preferred Strong understanding of safety protocols related to HVAC/R work environments including handling refrigerants like ammonia Mechanical knowledge encompassing boiler operation, welding skills for custom fittings or repairs, and general maintenance procedures Ability to work independently or as part of a team in fast-paced settings while maintaining attention to detail Join us if you're eager to lead impactful projects in a vibrant environment where your skills make a difference!
