Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Lead Painter to oversee and execute painting projects across residential, commercial, and industrial sites. As a Lead Painter, you will be responsible for guiding a team of painters, ensuring quality workmanship, and maintaining safety standards on all job sites. Your expertise in various painting techniques, surface preparation, and finishing will help deliver exceptional results that meet client expectations. This role offers an exciting opportunity to lead projects from start to finish while demonstrating your mastery of construction painting skills. Duties Lead and coordinate painting crews on multiple projects, ensuring timely completion and adherence to quality standards Prepare surfaces through sanding, plastering, caulking, and other methods to ensure optimal paint adhesion Read blueprints, schematics, and detailed schematics to determine project scope and specifications Apply paints using hand tools, airless paint sprayers, and power tools for efficient coverage on diverse surfaces Perform specialized painting tasks including industrial coatings, restoration work, stucco application, and renovation projects Install fixtures, trim carpentry, moldings, and perform drywall finishing as needed for comprehensive project completion Conduct site inspections to monitor progress, enforce safety protocols, and ensure quality control throughout the project lifecycle Requirements Proven experience in construction painting with a strong background in residential, commercial, and industrial projects Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately Skilled in surface preparation techniques such as plastering, caulking, masonry work, and drywall finishing Proficient with hand tools, power tools (including airless sprayers), welding equipment, and scaffolding setup Knowledge of color theory and various coating systems for different surfaces Familiarity with construction estimating processes and basic math skills for measuring and material calculations Experience with renovation projects involving carpentry (trim carpentry, frame carpentry), masonry, stucco application, and fixture installation Strong understanding of safety procedures on construction sites and the ability to lead by example Additional skills such as welding, concrete finishing, masonry work or handyman experience are considered a plus Join us as a Lead Painter to bring vibrant visions to life! $27.55 - $33.17 per hour
