Lead Teacher After School

Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated, nurturing, creative, passionate and energetic Lead Teacher for our After School program to inspire and nurture children in a Dynamic Educational and Fun environment. As the Lead Teacher, you will be responsible for creating a safe, engaging, and supportive space where children can learn, play, and grow. Your role is vital in fostering positive behavior, encouraging creativity, and supporting each child's individual development. Responsibilities Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that promote learning, creativity, and social skills. Including Science, Math, Technology and Arts. Manage classroom behavior through effective positive behavior management techniques, ensuring a safe and respectful environment for all children and staff. Help with homework and bilingual is a plus. Maintain clear communication with parents regarding children's progress, behavior, and daily activities to foster strong partnerships. Ensure safety protocols are followed at all times, including first aid procedures and emergency response readiness. Aware of state licensing requirements. Organize extracurricular activities such as sports, arts, theater. Transportation from local schools to our facilty and field trips Qualifications Associates or Bachelor's degree in ECE or related field. Experience in both after school programs and preschool. Strong classroom management skills combined with knowledge of childhood development principles. A dependable team player who works well with others and remains flexible, readily assisting in any area where support is needed. Meets the physical demands of working with children 2 to 12. Valid California driver's license with a clean record. Comfortable driving children. Certification in first aid and CPR is required; additional certifications in special education or behavior management are a plus. Pass a background clearance and up-to-date on

$23.00 - $27.00 per hour
