Duties Prepare ingredients and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards Assist in menu planning by suggesting new ideas and seasonal specials Ensure food safety and proper handling of all ingredients during preparation and service Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, adhering to sanitation regulations Use knife skills effectively for chopping, slicing, dicing, and portioning ingredients Support catering events by preparing large quantities of food with efficiency and accuracy Serve dishes promptly and professionally to ensure a positive dining experience for guests Experience Previous kitchen experience in a restaurant or food service environment is highly preferred Familiarity with dietary department procedures or dietary aide experience is a plus Demonstrated skills in food preparation, cooking techniques, and meal assembly Knowledge of food handling safety protocols and sanitation standards Experience with menu planning, food industry practices, or culinary training is advantageous Strong knife skills and ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced setting Background in catering or food service for large groups is beneficial Embark on a rewarding culinary journey with us!
