LINE COOK / PREP COOK

You & Me Café | Stillwater, MN Part-Time You & Me Café is looking for a dependable, fast-paced, team-oriented Line Cook / Prep Cook to join our crew immediately. This is a small, high-volume café in Stillwater where teamwork, speed, attention to detail, and attitude matter. We're looking for someone who can move with urgency, stay organized under pressure, and genuinely enjoys being part of a tight-knit team. Base pay starts at $18/hour, plus a highly consistent tip pool that averages an additional $4-$5/hour, bringing most team members to roughly $21-$23/hour overall. Weekend availability is required.

WHAT THE JOB LOOKS LIKE

Line cooking during busy breakfast/lunch rushes Daily prep work and station setup Maintaining cleanliness and organization throughout the kitchen Working efficiently while keeping food quality consistent Jumping in to help with dishwashing wherever needed during busy shifts Because we're a smaller café, versatility is important. Everyone works together here. During a rush, that might mean helping run food, supporting the front counter, or stepping outside your station to help the team succeed.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

Reliable and punctual Able to handle high-volume service calmly and efficiently Strong attention to detail Positive attitude and team-first mentality Willingness to learn and improve Previous line cook or prep experience required Ability to communicate & read English kitchen tickets, recipes, and safety procedures required.

THE SCHEDULE

Most shifts fall between: 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM Flexible part-time availability
