Job Description

Rhinebeck Bank is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Loan Portfolio Administrator to support up to three Commercial Lenders and manage their loan portfolios. This role plays a key part in ensuring the smooth administration, documentation, and closing of both consumer and commercial loans. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, maintains strong organizational skills, and is committed to delivering excellent internal and external customer service. Key Responsibilities Review loan packages to ensure all required documentation is complete and ready for closing Prepare accurate loan documents in accordance with approved terms for consumer and commercial loans Coordinate loan closings with legal counsel, third-party vendors, and internal bank staff Calculate closing figures, ensure timely funding, and submit complete loan packages for boarding Provide regular status updates and support a seamless loan closing process Conduct post-closing reviews for loans processed by third parties and internal staff Assist with gathering financial documents, insurance updates, and outstanding closing items Monitor commercial borrowing base lines and perform monthly compliance calculations Process construction loan advances Maintain strong communication with customers, accountants, and stakeholders Track credit applications, manage documentation, and follow up on missing items Support annual credit reviews, monitor portfolio risk, and update credit files Generate activity and status reports as needed Stay current on bank policies, products, and regulatory requirements Contribute to a collaborative and team-oriented work environment Qualifications Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) OR Associate's degree with at least 2 years of relevant experience Experience in commercial lending support, loan servicing, portfolio management, or loan documentation Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word) Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines Why Join Rhinebeck Bank?
