Job Description

Job Summary

Rogers Helicopters, Inc., a Part 135/133 certificated rotorcraft operator based in the Fresno, CA area, is seeking a full-time A&P Mechanic to help maintain our fleet, including our AS350, Bell 212, and MD530 aircraft.

Location is a priority for this role. We are looking for candidates who live within approximately a 1-hour commute of Fresno, CA (or are willing to relocate to the area). Direct experience on the AS350, Bell 212, or MD530 is a plus, but it is not required — the right candidate who lives locally and is willing to learn is a stronger fit than an experienced mechanic who does not.

About the Role

For candidates who don't yet have experience on these airframes, we offer the opportunity to train through our internship/mentorship program: newer mechanics work alongside and shadow our experienced technicians to build hands-on, type-specific experience on the job.

Responsibilities

Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, inspections, and repairs on company rotorcraft, including AS350, Bell 212, and MD530 airframes

Troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, and airframe systems issues

Complete and maintain accurate maintenance records and logbook entries in accordance with FAA and company requirements

Work under the guidance of senior mechanics and Inspectors, following approved maintenance programs and manufacturer manuals

Support airworthiness and readiness of the fleet for Part 135/133 operations

Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment

Preferred (Not Required)

Prior experience maintaining AS350, Bell 212, and/or MD530 aircraft

Turbine helicopter maintenance experience

Familiarity with Part 135/133 maintenance operations

What We Offer

Full-time position with a family owned and operated rotorcraft operator with 60+ years in business, based in the Fresno area

Hands-on mentorship and shadowing opportunities with experienced mechanics for candidates new to these airframes

The opportunity to build long-term, type-specific experience on the AS350, Bell 212, and MD530

Requirements

Current FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) certificate

Must live within approximately 1 hour of Fresno, CA, or be willing to relocate

Valid driver's license

Strong mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn new aircraft systems

Ability to work safely and follow established maintenance procedures and documentation standards

Reliable, team-oriented, and detail-focused
