Monday-Friday Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced T56 Aircraft Engine Mechanic to perform maintenance, repair, overhaul, inspection, disassembly, and assembly of aircraft engines. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience working with Rolls-Royce T56/501 and/or Pratt & Whitney PT6 engines and be familiar with aviation maintenance procedures and technical manuals. Responsibilities Disassemble, inspect, repair, and assemble T56/501 and PT6 aircraft engines. Inspect engine parts, components, and assemblies for condition and serviceability. Perform repairs and overhaul work according to approved technical data and work instructions. Ensure proper configuration, fit, clearances, and assembly of engine components. Perform required servicing procedures. Accurately use hand tools, specialty tools, and precision measuring equipment. Follow all aviation safety, quality, and maintenance procedures. Maintain accurate documentation and ensure all work meets established standards. Qualifications Previous experience as an aviation engine mechanic is required. Hands-on experience with T56/501 and/or PT6 engines, preferably in repair or overhaul. Powerplant certification is preferred. Strong knowledge of aircraft engines and engine components. Ability to read and follow aviation maintenance manuals and technical instructions. Knowledge of proper tool and measuring equipment use. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality. Ability and willingness to learn new procedures and processes. Must be able to read, write, and communicate effectively in English. Must provide your own toolbox and standard tools. Preferred Experience Test cell operator experience. APU repair and overhaul experience. Field Service experience involving aircraft engines or related aircraft systems.
