Updated 08/27/2026 Job Description Job Summary Perform routine and scheduled aircraft inspections in accordance with FAA regulations and company maintenance programs. Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems. Conduct preventive maintenance to ensure aircraft are safe, airworthy, and ready for service. Read and interpret technical manuals, engineering documents, service bulletins, and maintenance logs. Remove, repair, and reinstall aircraft components such as panels, control surfaces, and landing gear. Utilize specialized tools and diagnostic equipment to verify system performance and resolve discrepancies. Accurately complete maintenance records, work orders, and compliance documentation. Collaborate with fellow technicians, inspectors, and supervisors to meet project timelines and operational requirements. Requirements High school diploma or GED 4+ years related experience in aircraft maintenance, mechanical systems repair, or technical troubleshooting Experience in an MRO, airline, or aerospace maintenance environment FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) certificate or enrollment in an A&P program Familiarity with FAA Part 145 operations and documentation Strong understanding of basic mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic principles Ability to read and follow technical manuals, schematics, and regulatory documentation Proficiency using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment Basic computer skills for documentation and work order entry Strong safety awareness and ability to handle tools and materials safely Ability to work independently and within a team Job and company information not to be copied, shared, scraped, or otherwise disseminated without explicit consent of JSfirm, LLC.
