Job Description

Description Momentum Aeronautics is seeking a highly skilled Lead A&P Mechanic to join our dynamic team. As the Lead A&P Mechanic, you will have the opportunity to help us build a new department utilizing your knowledge and expertise to ensure that all aircraft are modified, maintained and repaired to the highest standards, while ensuring all work is performed in accordance with FAA regulations. Responsibilities Supervise the modification, maintenance, and repair of aircraft, including inspection, testing, and troubleshooting Ensure that all work is completed efficiently and to the highest standards Develop and maintain maintenance schedules to ensure all aircraft are serviced promptly and within budget Work with the Quality Control team to ensure all work complies with FAA regulations and standards Conduct regular safety audits, and ensure all safety procedures are understood and followed Keep accurate records of all completed work, including parts used, labor hours, and costs Coordinate with other departments within the company to ensure all modifications, maintenance and repair work is completed in within engineering parameters as well as in a timely and effective manner. Requirements A valid FAA A&P license Minimum of 5 years of experience in aircraft maintenance, with a minimum of 3 years in a supervisory role Strong knowledge of FAA regulations relating to aircraft maintenance Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics Proficiency in the use of computer-based maintenance tracking systems Knowledge of aircraft systems, including hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical Excellent communication and team management skills Flexibility to work extended hours, weekends, and holidays when required.
