Job Description

Responsibilities:
Install, inspect, test, and service fire alarm and life safety systems in compliance with NFPA 72, California Fire Code, and local AHJ requirements Perform troubleshooting, programming, and repair on commercial fire alarm control panels (Potter, Kidde, Notifier, Simplex, Edwards, or similar) Complete accurate inspection reports, service tickets, and compliance documentation Coordinate with clients, AHJs, and internal teams to ensure systems remain code-compliant Respond to service calls and emergency troubleshooting as needed
Requirements:
Active REG 4 Basic and Complex Fire Life Safety Systems Certification (required) NICET Fire Alarm Systems Level I or higher preferred California Fire/Life Safety Technician Certification Experience with commercial fire alarm panel programming and testing Valid CA driver's license with clean driving record Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to work independently and with apprentices
