Supremo Food Market is a growing supermarket company with multiple locations throughout New Jersey and Pennsylvania. We are looking for a highly skilled, reliable, and hands-on IT, Security & Low Voltage Technician to join our team and work directly for the company. This is an in-house position responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, repairing, and improving the technology, security, video surveillance, audio, networking, and low-voltage systems across our stores. We are looking for someone who can diagnose problems independently and get them fixed rather than simply install equipment or call an outside vendor. Position Overview The ideal candidate will have a strong background in IT, CCTV/video surveillance, security systems, networking, audio/video, and low-voltage systems . This person will travel between our stores to troubleshoot and repair equipment, perform installations and upgrades, and work with store management to keep our technology and security systems operating properly. You will become a key member of our operations team and the primary in-house resource for technology and security-related issues. Key ResponsibilitiesIT & Networking

• Troubleshoot computers, printers, monitors, and other technology used throughout our stores.
• Troubleshoot network connectivity, Wi-Fi, routers, switches, and related equipment.
• Diagnose connectivity issues involving IP addresses, Ethernet, PoE, and network devices.
• Troubleshoot and maintain store technology and communication systems.
• Assist with network equipment installations and upgrades.
• Identify recurring technology problems and recommend long-term solutions. Video Surveillance / CCTV
• Troubleshoot and repair IP cameras, NVRs, DVRs, monitors, and surveillance systems.
• Diagnose cameras that are offline, malfunctioning, producing poor-quality video, or not recording.
• Install, replace, relocate, configure, and test security cameras.
• Troubleshoot PoE switches, network connections, power supplies, and cabling associated with surveillance systems.
• Maintain reliable recording and remote viewing of security systems.
• Perform preventative maintenance and recommend equipment upgrades when appropriate. Security & Alarm Systems
• Troubleshoot burglar alarms and other electronic security systems.
• Diagnose alarm sensors, door contacts, motion detectors, keypads, wiring, power supplies, and communication issues.
• Troubleshoot and maintain access-control systems.
• Work with electronic locks, card readers, keypads, magnetic locks, and electric strikes.
• Respond to urgent security-system problems at store locations.
• Coordinate with outside security vendors when specialized service is required.

Audio / Video

Systems

• Troubleshoot and maintain commercial audio systems throughout stores.
• Work with speakers, amplifiers, microphones, mixers, media players, and related equipment.
• Diagnose sound issues, including loss of audio, poor sound quality, connectivity, and equipment failures.
• Install, replace, and configure audio and video equipment.
• Assist with store announcements, music systems, televisions, and other AV equipment. Low Voltage & Cabling
• Install, terminate, test, label, and organize low-voltage cabling.
• Work with Cat5e, Cat6, coaxial, alarm, audio, video, and other low-voltage wiring.
• Trace and repair damaged or faulty wiring.
• Use cable testers and other diagnostic tools to identify problems.
• Maintain clean, professional, and organized equipment rooms and installations. Store Support
• Travel to multiple Supremo Food Market locations to perform repairs, troubleshooting, installations, and preventative maintenance.
• Respond quickly to priority technology and security issues.
• Work directly with store managers and corporate management to identify and resolve technical problems.
• Maintain an organized inventory of tools, parts, and replacement equipment.
• Document repairs, recurring issues, equipment replacements, and completed work.
• Help determine when equipment should be repaired versus replaced.
• Manage small projects and installations from start to finish.
• Work with outside contractors and vendors when necessary. QualificationsRequired
• 3+ years of hands-on experience in IT, low voltage, CCTV, security systems, networking, AV, or a related technical field.
• Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
• Experience working with IP cameras and NVR/DVR systems.
• Working knowledge of computer networks, Ethernet, Wi-Fi, routers, switches, and PoE.
• Experience with low-voltage wiring and cabling.
• Experience troubleshooting electronic security systems.
• Experience with commercial audio/video systems.
• Ability to work independently and solve problems without constant supervision.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Valid driver's license.
• Ability to travel between multiple store locations. Strongly Preferred
• Experience working in retail, supermarkets, commercial buildings, warehouses, or other multi-location environments.
• Experience with access-control systems.
• Experience with burglar alarm systems.
• Experience with structured cabling.
• Experience with commercial sound systems.
• Experience with network troubleshooting and IP configuration.
• Experience installing and configuring security equipment.
• Familiarity with remote monitoring and cloud-based security systems.
• Experience with electrical or electronic troubleshooting.
• Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.

Ideal Candidate We are looking for someone who is hands-on, dependable, technically capable, and resourceful . The ideal candidate is the type of person who can walk into a store and figure out why something isn't working.

For example:

A camera goes offline: You determine whether the issue is the camera, cable, PoE switch, network, power, IP configuration, or recording system and get it operational.

An alarm keeps triggering:

You identify whether the problem is the sensor, wiring, power, communication, programming, or another issue and resolve it.

A store loses audio:

You troubleshoot the source, amplifier, wiring, speakers, network, or equipment and restore the system. A door access reader stops working: You diagnose the reader, lock, power supply, wiring, controller, and network connection and repair the problem. You should be comfortable working with your hands, using tools and testing equipment, climbing ladders when necessary, and troubleshooting both hardware and software. Compensation & Benefits
