Tekk Force is hiring experienced Fire Alarm & Security Technicians for an exciting data center project in Lubbock, TX! This is a great opportunity to work on a large-scale, high-profile data center installation alongside experienced low-voltage professionals. We are looking for dependable technicians who take pride in clean installations, quality workmanship, and getting the job done right. What You'll Be Doing Install and support fire alarm and security systems throughout the data center Pull, route, dress, label, and terminate low-voltage cabling Install fire alarm devices, initiating devices, notification appliances, and associated cabling Install access control, card readers, door contacts, request-to-exit devices, and other security equipment Install and support CCTV cameras and associated cabling as needed Install conduit, J-hooks, cable tray, supports, and pathways as required Perform device trim-out and terminations Assist with testing, troubleshooting, commissioning, and system verification Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, device layouts, and project documentation Maintain clean and organized cable pathways and work areas Follow all project and jobsite safety requirements What We're Looking For Previous commercial fire alarm and/or security installation experience Data center, industrial, or large commercial construction experience is a major plus Experience installing and terminating fire alarm devices Experience with access control and security systems CCTV installation experience is a plus Ability to pull, route, label, dress, and terminate low-voltage cabling Ability to read prints and follow device layouts Experience troubleshooting low-voltage systems Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship Ability to work independently and as part of a fast-paced project team Lead-level candidates with experience directing crews are encouraged to apply
