Full Job Description Installation Specialist Position Responsibilities:
Install equipment within the project's specifications and recommend modifications of the installation or recommend a new product to improve the performance or meet specified operating requirements. Customer Jobsite installation of the company's system and equipment in accordance with the project's documentation, equipment specifications, and Project Manager's and Foreman's directions. The controls installer performs all the labor tasks involved with installing a company and customer-specified DDC system. Maintaining high standards of professional conduct and quality workmanship, as well as high levels of personal integrity while representing the company through the process of a customer project installation.
Installation Specialist Qualifications:
Minimum high school diploma Two years as an electrician or control systems installer Technical Associates or Journeyman's electrical license, preferred Must understand current building electrical code. Must have the specific product and industry knowledge necessary to make technical day-to-day decisions Must be familiar with the trade work of electricians and the construction process Must have a basic understanding of the current and future capabilities of the control system being installed and maintained by the company This position requires working in diverse project types including industrial environments Thorough background and drug screening will be required for each applicant
