Overview Join our dynamic team as an Auto Body Technician, where your expertise in automotive structural repair and cosmetic restoration will bring vehicles back to their original glory. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work with state-of-the-art automotive welding equipment, sheet metal fabrication, and auto painting techniques. As a vital member of our collision repair team, you'll utilize your mechanical knowledge and hands-on skills to deliver exceptional results, ensuring customer satisfaction and vehicle safety. Duties Perform auto body repairs including dent removal, panel replacement, and structural realignment using advanced welding repair techniques such as MIG welding and soldering. Utilize hand tools, power tools, sanding tools, and automotive welding equipment to shape, repair, and restore vehicle bodies with precision. Conduct automotive cosmetic repairs, auto painting, auto restoration, and automotive body refinishing to achieve a flawless finish. Install automotive parts including auto glass, bumpers, trim pieces, and other components with attention to detail and quality standards. Apply fabrication repair techniques using sheet metal and fabrication skills to create custom parts or modify existing panels for optimal fit and finish. Perform vehicle maintenance tasks related to collision repair, including alignment checks and mechanical repairs when necessary. Maintain a clean and organized workspace while adhering to safety protocols during heavy lifting and the use of power tools. Collaborate with team members on auto estimating, customer service interactions, and vehicle inspection reports to ensure transparency and satisfaction. Experience Proven experience working as an automotive body technician or in a similar collision repair environment. Skilled in MIG welding, soldering, welding repair, and automotive welding equipment operation. Knowledge of auto body structural repair methods including sheet metal work and fabrication repair techniques. Familiarity with auto parts installation processes such as auto glass replacement and bumper repairs. Ability to operate various hand tools, power tools, airless paint spraying equipment, and detailing tools efficiently. Pay:
From $33.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
