Long Beach, CA Job Details Part-time | Full-time | Contract $24 - $30 an hour 18 hours ago Qualifications Automotive frame repair Mechanical fabrication Sheet metal fabrication Experience working in the automotive repair industry Vehicle steering system repair Automotive structural repair Vehicle suspension system repair Hand tools Automotive braking system repair Full Job Description About Us NSTY Fab Co. is a custom automotive fabrication shop based in Long Beach, CA, specializing in classic car and truck builds — truck lowering, C-notch and Monster/Step Notch installs, short bed conversions, four-link coilover setups, disc brake conversions, and full custom fabrication work. We run a steady flow of builds every month for a loyal customer base in the classic truck and custom vehicle scene, and our work is out there for everyone to see across Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube. About the Role We're looking for a Fabricator/Builder with intermediate to advanced experience to join our team and jump straight into real work. Our builds cover a wide range of modifications, so you should be comfortable moving between different systems on a vehicle rather than sticking to just one specialty. Work you'll be doing includes: Suspension work and custom suspension builds (four-link, coilover setups, and more) Brake system upgrades and disc brake conversions Frame and chassis modification, including notching and reinforcement Body panel work and repair Steering system work Engine swaps and chassis swaps General custom fabrication across classic cars and trucks What We're Looking For Intermediate to advanced hands-on experience with classic car/truck builds and custom fabrication Solid working knowledge of suspension, brakes, frame/chassis, body, steering, and engine/chassis swap work Ability to read a job and execute with minimal hand-holding — we need someone who can be an asset from day one Reliable transportation Your own essential hand tools
Pay:
$24.00 - $30.00 per hour Expected hours: 20.0 - 40.0 per week
