In this role, you'll utilize your expertise in automotive structural repair, auto body repair, and cosmetic refinishing to transform damaged vehicles into safe, visually appealing masterpieces. Your skills in welding, fabrication, and vehicle maintenance will be essential in delivering high-quality results that exceed customer expectations. Responsibilities Perform auto body repairs including dent removal, sheet metal work, and structural realignment using advanced fabrication techniques. Utilize MIG welding, soldering, and automotive welding equipment to repair or replace damaged panels and structural components. Conduct auto restoration projects, ensuring precise fabrication repair techniques are applied for long-lasting results. Use sanding tools, power tools, and airless paint spraying equipment to prepare surfaces and apply automotive refinishing coatings. Install automotive parts such as glass, trim, and other components with attention to detail and quality standards. Execute auto painting and cosmetic repairs to restore vehicles' appearance to factory standards. Assist with vehicle maintenance tasks including mechanical repairs, auto parts installation, and general automotive repair work as needed. Maintain a clean and organized workspace while adhering to safety protocols during heavy lifting and the use of power tools. Provide excellent customer service by explaining repair processes and ensuring customer satisfaction throughout the repair journey. Experience Proven experience working as an automotive body technician or auto body repair specialist. Dealership experience is highly preferred for familiarity with OEM standards and procedures. Skilled in MIG welding, welding repair, soldering, and fabrication repair techniques. Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience using hand tools, power tools, sanding tools, and automotive painting equipment. Knowledge of automotive structural repair, sheet metal work, auto restoration, and automotive cosmetic repair is essential. Experience with auto estimating, auto body refinishing, auto painting, detailing, and auto glass installation is a plus. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining attention to detail during all phases of vehicle repair. Familiarity with automotive parts installation and general automotive repair processes enhances your versatility as a technician.
