Overview We are seeking a skilled Auto Body Technician - Helper assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for automotive restoration and repair, with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship. This role involves working on various vehicles, performing repairs, and ensuring customer satisfaction through excellent service. Duties Assess vehicle damage and determine necessary repairs. Fabricate and assemble parts as needed for vehicle restoration. Utilize hand tools and equipment to perform repairs on body panels Perform metal repairs and enhancements. Work with sheet metal to restore vehicles to their original condition. Maintain a clean and organized workspace while adhering to safety protocols. Light body work and vehicle repair, able to work independantly Ability to prep vehicles for paint. Requirements Proven experience as an Auto Body Apprentice or similar role in the automotive industry. Strong attention to detail with the ability to produce high-quality work. Proficiency in using hand tools and equipment relevant to auto body repair. Familiarity with vehicle maintenance practices and auto restoration techniques. Excellent customer service skills Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Knowledge of auto estimating processes is a plus but not required.
