•Auto Body Repair Technician Position Summary We are seeking a skilled and dependable Auto Body Repair Technician to join our team. The technician will be responsible for repairing and restoring damaged vehicles to their pre-accident condition while maintaining high standards of quality, safety, and workmanship. Responsibilities Inspect vehicles to assess collision and body damage. Repair dents, scratches, and other body damage. Remove, repair, and replace damaged body panels and components. Perform metal and plastic body repairs. Use hand tools, power tools, and body repair equipment safely and effectively. Perform body filling, sanding, grinding, and preparation for painting. Align body panels and structural components as required. Disassemble and reassemble vehicles as part of the repair process. Follow manufacturer repair procedures and industry safety standards. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area. Inspect completed repairs to ensure quality and proper fit and finish. Communicate with estimators, technicians, and management regarding repair needs and progress. Properly document repairs and report any additional damage discovered during the repair process. Qualifications Previous experience in auto body repair or collision repair preferred. Knowledge of automotive body repair techniques and equipment. Ability to read and understand repair estimates and manufacturer procedures. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Valid driver's license preferred. I-CAR, ASE, or manufacturer certifications are a plus but not required. Physical Requirements Ability to stand, bend, kneel, and work in various positions for extended periods. Ability to lift and move automotive parts and equipment. Ability to safely operate hand and power tools. Ability to work in a busy automotive repair environment. Compensation & Benefits Competitive pay based on experience and skill level.
