Duties Perform comprehensive auto body repairs, including dent removal, sheet metal work, and structural realignment using welding repair techniques such as MIG welding and automotive welding equipment. Conduct automotive cosmetic repairs, including sanding, auto restoration, and automotive body refinishing to achieve high-quality finishes. Utilize hand tools, power tools, sanding tools, and fabrication techniques to shape, repair, and restore vehicle panels and structures. Install automotive parts such as auto glass, bumpers, trim pieces, and other components with precision. Apply automotive structural repair methods using sheet metal fabrication, soldering, and welding repair techniques to restore vehicle integrity. Perform vehicle maintenance tasks including auto parts installation, detailing, and auto glass replacement to ensure optimal vehicle condition. Collaborate with team members on auto estimating processes and customer service interactions to deliver exceptional results and satisfaction. Engage in lifting safely while handling vehicle components during repairs or restorations. Requirements Proven experience working as an automotive body technician or collision repair specialist; dealership experience is a plus. Skilled in welding, soldering, fabrication repair techniques, and automotive welding equipment operation. Strong knowledge of automotive structural components and vehicle maintenance procedures. Proficient with hand tools, power tools, sanding tools, airless paint spraying equipment, and other automotive repair tools. Knowledge of auto body repair processes including auto restoration, and automotive cosmetic repair. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high-quality standards. Excellent customer service skills coupled with the ability to communicate effectively about repair processes. Physical ability to perform heavy lifting and work in various positions for extended periods; familiarity with working as an automotive body technician is preferred.
