Duties Perform auto body repairs including dent removal, sheet metal work, and structural realignment using advanced fabrication repair techniques. Utilize MIG welding, automotive welding equipment, and soldering tools to repair or replace damaged vehicle panels and components. Conduct auto painting using airless paint spraying and auto restoration techniques to achieve a flawless finish. Use hand tools, power tools, sanding tools, and automotive parts installation equipment to complete repairs efficiently. Inspect vehicles thoroughly to identify damage, estimate repair needs, and execute automotive cosmetic repair with attention to detail. Perform auto glass replacement and automotive parts installation while ensuring proper alignment and safety standards. Assist in vehicle maintenance tasks such as heavy lifting, assembly, auto detailing, and general automotive repair to support overall vehicle restoration projects. Skills Proven experience working as an automotive body technician or in a dealership environment with a strong background in auto body repair. Proficiency in MIG welding, welding repair, soldering, and fabrication repair techniques essential for structural and cosmetic repairs. Mechanical knowledge of automotive systems including engine components, suspension, and electrical systems related to vehicle restoration. Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, sanding tools, and automotive painting equipment for detailed work. Familiarity with automotive structural repair standards, auto restoration processes, and automotive cosmetic repair methods. Ability to perform auto estimating accurately and work efficiently under pressure while maintaining high-quality standards. Physical ability for heavy lifting and working on vehicles for extended periods; strong attention to detail in all aspects of auto body work.
