Job Overview Join our dynamic team as an Auto Body Technician and become a vital part of restoring vehicles to their original glory! In this energetic role, you will utilize your expertise in automotive structural repair, auto body repair, and cosmetic refinishing to deliver exceptional results. Your hands-on skills in welding, fabrication, and vehicle maintenance will ensure each vehicle is repaired efficiently and to the highest standards. Duties Perform automotive structural repairs, including welding repair, sheet metal work, and auto restoration techniques using MIG welding, soldering, and other fabrication repair methods Conduct auto body repairs such as dent removal, auto painting, sanding, and automotive cosmetic repairs with precision using specialized sanding tools and airless paint spraying equipment Install automotive parts including auto glass, bumpers, panels, and other components with attention to detail and quality standards Utilize hand tools and power tools for assembly, auto parts installation, and detailed finishing work to ensure seamless repairs Apply automotive welding equipment for structural reinforcement and repair tasks involving sheet metal and automotive parts Conduct vehicle maintenance checks post-repair to ensure safety, functionality, and aesthetic appeal Maintain accurate documentation of repairs performed and assist with auto estimating processes when needed Qualifications Proven experience working as an automotive body technician or in a similar role within a dealership or independent shop setting Strong knowledge of auto body repair techniques including welding (MIG welding), fabrication, sanding, painting, and cosmetic refinishing Hands-on experience with automotive structural repair, dent removal, auto restoration, and sheet metal work Proficiency with automotive welding equipment, soldering tools, airless paint sprayers, and other power tools Mechanical knowledge related to vehicle maintenance and automotive parts installation Ability to lift heavy objects safely and perform physically demanding tasks regularly Familiarity with auto glass replacement, auto estimating procedures, and automotive damage assessment is a plus Join us to bring vehicles back to life with skillful craftsmanship! Pay:
$25.13 - $30.26 per hour
