In this role, you will be responsible for performing precise automotive structural repairs, auto body repairs, and cosmetic restorations to ensure vehicles are restored to their optimal condition. Your expertise in welding, fabrication, and vehicle maintenance will be crucial in delivering top-quality results. Responsibilities Conduct automotive structural repairs using MIG welding, soldering, and welding repair techniques to restore vehicle integrity. Perform auto body repairs including dent removal, sheet metal work, sanding, and automotive cosmetic repair to achieve a flawless finish. Utilize hand tools and power tools for assembly, disassembly, and precise fitting of automotive parts and components. Execute auto painting using airless paint spraying equipment and automotive body refinishing techniques to enhance vehicle appearance. Install automotive parts such as auto glass, bumpers, trim pieces, and other components with attention to detail and quality standards. Apply fabrication repair techniques for custom modifications or repairs involving sheet metal and structural components. Assist with auto restoration projects by employing welding, sanding tools, automotive welding equipment, and fabrication skills. Support vehicle maintenance tasks including mechanical repairs and parts installation to ensure optimal vehicle performance. Follow safety protocols during heavy lifting operations and the use of power tools to maintain a secure work environment. Collaborate with team members on auto estimating processes and ensure all repairs meet industry standards. Skills Proven dealership experience or extensive background as an automotive body technician. Proficiency in MIG welding, soldering, and welding repair techniques specific to automotive applications. Strong mechanical knowledge related to vehicle maintenance and automotive structural repair. Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, sanding tools, and automotive welding equipment effectively. Experience with auto body repair including dent removal, sheet metal work, auto restoration, and cosmetic refinishing. Knowledge of auto painting processes such as airless paint spraying and automotive body refinishing methods. Ability to install auto glass and perform automotive parts installation accurately. Familiarity with auto estimating procedures for cost assessment of repairs. Capable of heavy lifting safely while maintaining attention to detail during complex repairs. Working knowledge of automotive parts installation procedures and general auto repair practices.
