In this multifaceted role, you will be at the forefront of vehicle repair and restoration, combining technical skill with a passion for automotive craftsmanship. You'll work in a fast-paced environment dedicated to delivering high-quality auto body repairs, refinishing, and painting that exceed customer expectations. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in collision repair, auto painting, and body shop support while contributing to a team committed to excellence and innovation. Duties Perform automotive structural repairs using sheet metal fabrication, MIG welding, soldering, and welding repair techniques to restore vehicles to factory specifications. Prepare surfaces through sanding, sanding tools, and automotive cosmetic repair methods to ensure optimal paint adhesion and finish quality. Apply auto body paint using airless paint spraying equipment and auto painting techniques to achieve a flawless finish. Assist with auto glass installation, automotive parts installation, and vehicle assembly tasks to support overall repair processes. Use hand tools and power tools for dent removal, sheet metal shaping, and minor mechanical repairs while adhering to safety standards. Conduct automotive detailing and auto restoration work to enhance vehicle appearance and value. Support the team with heavy lifting and general shop assistance, ensuring efficient workflow throughout the body shop. Experience Prior dealership experience or hands-on work in an automotive collision or body shop environment is highly preferred. Proficiency in MIG welding, welding repair, soldering, and fabrication repair techniques. Strong mechanical knowledge of automotive systems, parts installation, and vehicle maintenance procedures. Familiarity with automotive structural repair, auto body repair, and sheet metal work. Experience operating automotive welding equipment, sanding tools, airless paint sprayers, and other power tools. Knowledge of automotive cosmetic repair methods including auto painting and refinishing processes. Excellent customer service skills combined with basic auto estimating abilities are a plus.
