LOOKING FOR AN AUTO BODY TECH ON 1ST SHIFT IN KINGSTON PA. LOOKING FOR A SKILLED AUTO BODY TECH LOOKING FOR SOMONE WHO HAS THEIR I-CAR FOLD CLASS OR PURSUING IT MUST KNOW HOW TO DO FRAMEWORK AND MEASURE FRAMES FOR THIS ROLE.
Structural and non-structural body repairs, Ability to work independently and maintain quality standards, Consistent production and cycle-time awareness, Team-oriented with a strong work ethic $25-$30/hr flat rate based on skill set. 1ST SHIFT Key Responsibilities Perform structural and non-structural repairs following OEM procedures and repair planning process. Diagnose and repair frame, unibody, suspension, and safety system damage. Complete advanced metal repair, welding (steel/aluminum/STRSW), panel replacement, and sectioning. Deliver first-time quality repairs with minimal supplements and comebacks. Support ADAS repairs and calibrations, including documentation and coordination. Meet or exceed standards for cycle time, touch time, productivity, and quality. Conduct quality checks before vehicles move to paint or reassembly. Communicate effectively with estimators, parts teams, and management. Mentor and support B and C technicians as needed. Qualifications 5+ years of collision repair experience at an A-Tech level.
Strong experience with:
Structural/frame repair and measuring systems Aluminum repair techniques MIG welding, aluminum welding, and STRSW Sectioning, bonding, and panel replacement Suspension, cooling, and safety system repairs Solid understanding of OEM repair procedures and position statements. Certifications & Requirements I-CAR Gold Class (required or actively pursuing). Steel and aluminum welding certifications preferred. Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record. #IND2
