Job Summary Join our dynamic automotive team as an Auto Body Technician, where your expertise in vehicle repair and restoration will bring damaged vehicles back to life with precision and craftsmanship. In this energetic role, you will perform structural repairs, cosmetic refinishing, and assembly work to ensure every vehicle meets the highest standards of quality and safety. Duties Perform automotive structural repairs using welding repair techniques such as MIG welding, soldering, and automotive welding equipment to restore vehicle frames and panels. Utilize sheet metal fabrication skills to shape, cut, and install new panels or repair damaged sections with fabrication repair techniques. Conduct auto body repairs including dent removal, sanding, auto painting, and automotive cosmetic repairs using sanding tools, airless paint spraying, and detailing equipment. Install automotive parts such as auto glass, trim components, and other replacement parts with precision and adherence to manufacturer specifications. Apply automotive body refinishing techniques to achieve a smooth, high-quality finish; this includes auto painting, auto restoration projects, and automotive parts installation. Use power tools and hand tools effectively for assembly, disassembly, sanding, and finishing tasks while ensuring safety protocols are followed during heavy lifting or working with automotive parts. Assist with auto estimating processes by assessing damage severity and recommending appropriate repair solutions; support vehicle maintenance tasks as needed. Qualifications Proven experience working as an automotive body technician within a dealership or collision center environment. Strong knowledge of auto body repair techniques including welding (MIG welding), sheet metal work, sanding tools, and automotive cosmetic repair. Hands-on experience with automotive structural repair, auto restoration, auto painting, and auto glass installation. Mechanical knowledge related to vehicle maintenance and automotive parts installation. Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and fabrication repair techniques. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently in a fast-paced setting. Excellent attention to detail with a focus on quality craftsmanship in all aspects of auto body repair.
