We're a locally owned business providing windshield replacement, rock chip repair, and other automotive glass services, both in our shop and at customers' locations. Applicants must be willing and able to drive up to four hours per day for work purposes. Responsibilities Remove and replace windshields, door glass, and rear windows using proper tools and installation procedures. Perform windshield rock chip repairs and assess damage according to company procedures. Prepare glass and vehicle surfaces for installation, ensuring proper fit, alignment, sealing, and a clean finish. Protect customers' vehicles during service, including paint, trim, and interior surfaces. Safely handle, load, transport, and store automotive glass, tools, and supplies. Operate company vehicles safely while traveling to and from mobile service appointments. Inspect completed work for quality and cleanliness before returning vehicles to customers. Explain the service performed and any aftercare instructions clearly and professionally. Complete work orders accurately and communicate job progress, parts needs, or unexpected issues to the team. Keep the shop, tools, and service vehicles clean, organized, and ready for the next job. Learn and follow company procedures, equipment safety practices, and applicable installation requirements. Qualifications Previous auto glass experience is preferred, but not required. Valid driver's license and a safe driving record. Willingness and ability to drive up to four hours per day for work-related travel. Willingness to learn, follow instructions, and develop safe, consistent work habits. Mechanical aptitude and comfort working with hand tools; automotive or other hands-on experience is helpful. Strong attention to detail and pride in completing work correctly. Dependable attendance, good time management, and the ability to work with a team. Friendly, professional communication and respect for customers and their property. Experience with windshield replacement, rock chip repair, or advanced driver assistance system (ADAS) calibration is a plus. Physical Requirements Ability to lift, carry, and position automotive glass and equipment using safe handling practices and appropriate equipment or assistance. Ability to regularly stand, bend, reach, and work around vehicles during installations and repairs. Ability to perform the essential duties of the position, with or without reasonable accommodation.
