This position is full-time seasonal, and starts immediately. Typical schedule is Wednesday-Sunday, with some additional days during school holidays. Responsibilities include maintaining ski lifts and other equipment in accordance with Arctic Valley's periodic maintenance schedule, performing repairs and modifications as necessary, keeping maintenance and operations records, performing regular maintenance and repairs on snow groomers and buildings, responding to inquiries from operations, and other duties as assigned. Pay is $20/hr+ DOE, plus a free shift meal during ski season, and other ski industry benefits. Previous experience with ski lifts or groomers, and knowledge of

is preferred but not required. Ability to work at heights on lift towers in all weather conditions is required. Some electrical, mechanical, and/or hydraulic troubleshooting and maintenance experience is preferred. Applicant must be an advanced skier or snowboarder. This position requires the ability to work outside in all conditions, stand, kneel, feel and manipulate objects with fingers, visually inspect equipment, listen to machinery for abnormal sounds, stand and work on ladders and other equipment above ground level for extended periods of time. Reliable winter-ready transportation is required. All applicants must be at least 18 years of age and will undergo a background check and motor vehicle record check.
