Western Hydro Engineering, LLC is Hiring! Heavy Equipment Mechanic - Well Drilling Equipment Western Hydro Engineering is seeking an experienced Heavy Equipment Mechanic to join our team and keep our drilling rigs, support equipment, trucks, and equipment operating safely and reliably. What You'll Do Diagnose, repair, and maintain diesel engines, hydraulic systems, electrical systems, and drilling equipment Perform preventative maintenance and inspections on drilling rigs, pumps, compressors, mud systems, trucks, and trailers Troubleshoot and repair equipment in the shop and in the field Assist with emergency field repairs and equipment breakdowns Maintain service records and preventative maintenance schedules Perform welding and fabrication as needed Help keep Western Hydro's fleet ready to perform in demanding Arizona drilling conditions Qualifications Experience as a heavy equipment, diesel, or industrial mechanic Strong mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical troubleshooting skills Drilling, mining, construction, or oilfield equipment experience preferred Welding and fabrication experience is a plus CDL is preferred but not required Ability to work independently and in the field when needed Strong commitment to safety and quality workmanship Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus What We Offer Competitive pay & benefits Take-home company truck Full-time, year-round work Overtime opportunities Hands-on work with heavy drilling equipment Opportunity to grow with a locally owned Arizona company If you're a mechanic who takes pride in keeping heavy equipment running and wants to work with a company that values skilled people and quality work, we want to hear from you.
