In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of vehicles with precision and efficiency. Your expertise will ensure that each vehicle meets safety standards and performs optimally, providing exceptional service to our customers. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with diverse automotive systems, including powertrains, electrical components, and advanced driver-assistance systems (ADAS), in a fast-paced environment that values technical excellence and customer satisfaction. Responsibilities Perform comprehensive diagnostics using automotive diagnostic tools to identify issues accurately across various vehicle systems. Conduct repairs and maintenance on vehicles, including engine repairs, transmission work, brake systems, suspension, steering, and electrical systems. Utilize schematics and technical manuals to troubleshoot complex mechanical and electrical problems efficiently. Service vehicles with precision using hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and specialized automotive repair tools. Execute wheel alignments and ADAS calibrations to ensure optimal vehicle handling and safety features. Maintain detailed service records, complete auto estimating procedures, and communicate repair findings clearly to customers. Stay updated on the latest automotive technologies such as diesel engine repair, vehicle electrical systems, and GM vehicle-specific protocols. Experience Proven dealership experience or extensive service technician background in automotive repair environments. Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in automotive diagnostics and repairs. Familiarity with schematics, wiring diagrams, and automotive electrical systems. Experience working on powertrains, transmissions, diesel engines, and performing wheel alignments. Customer service skills coupled with the ability to explain technical issues clearly to clients. Knowledge of auto estimating software and familiarity with service procedures for GM vehicles is a plus.
