Job Description
Summary Performing a variety of semi-skilled and unskilled tasks in the maintenance shop, vehicle repair and preventive maintenance. While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions; moving mechanical parts; high, precarious places; fumes or airborne particles; toxic or caustic chemicals; outside weather conditions; extreme cold; extreme heat; risk of electrical shock; risk of radiation and vibration. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
- Work with hydraulic lifts
- Work on vehicle hydraulic systems
- Work on vehicle electrical systems
- Required to comply with Safety Programs
- Follow all health and safety regulations when operating equipment
- Complete all assigned tasks in a timely and efficient manner
- Perform general manual labor tasks including loading, unloading, lifting, and moving materials
- General plumbing above and below grade
- General electrical work; conduit installation, pulling wire
- Assist a variety of functions with manual labor tasks as needed
- Use required PPE per OSHA regulations
- Help with various maintenance-related tasks like cleaning filters, greasing, and small inspections
- Perform other duties as assigned

Required:
Must be 21 + years oldFlexible availability for work hoursGeneral mechanical knowledge May work independently, as part of a team, or as an assistant to a skilled trades person This position requires a 40-hour minimum work week. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.- Ability to balance, reach grasp while climbing on a step stool and/ or 20' ladder
