The ideal candidate will have a strong background in vehicle diagnostics, repair, and maintenance. This role requires solid mechanical knowledge and proficiency with both hand and power tools. The Automotive Mechanic will be responsible for ensuring vehicles are safe, reliable, and restored to optimal performance while delivering high-quality workmanship and customer satisfaction. We also work with heavy trucks. Responsibilities Perform diagnostics and repairs on engines, transmissions, brakes, suspension systems, and other mechanical components. Conduct routine maintenance services such as oil changes, tire rotations, fluid checks, and tune-ups. Use diagnostic tools and equipment to identify mechanical issues and recommend appropriate repairs. Replace and repair worn or damaged parts with accuracy and efficiency. Test-drive vehicles to ensure successful repairs and proper functioning. Collaborate with service advisors, technicians, and other staff to maintain an efficient workflow. Maintain a clean and organized workspace while adhering to all safety guidelines. Stay updated on advancements in automotive technology and repair techniques. Experience Proven experience as an Automotive Mechanic or similar role is preferred. Strong understanding of vehicle systems and mechanical components. Familiarity with diagnostic scanners, testing equipment, and modern repair tools. Experience with electrical diagnostics is a plus. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. ASE certifications or other relevant credentials are desirable.
