  • This is NOT an entry level job. MUST have extensive prior mechanic experience in a shop and be proficient at advanced automotive services

After being employed for six months all you need to do is pass the test and bring us the receipt to get reimbursed. Have a class you want to take to hone your skills or learn something new? Let us know. We require at very minimum four years prior mechanic experience in a shop. We are a full service shop. We are currently looking for someone comfortable with more difficult jobs such as: in depth diagnostics, repairing problem cars (you know the ones), timing belt/chain on interference engines, Heat/AC diagnostic and repair including heater cores, heavy line work and jobs of that skill level. We do have people to help you out physically if needed but you're going to need to know what you're doing and direct the work. We also take into account extensive experience with a specialty skill such as classic cars, EV's, lifting/lowering vehicles, smog, etc. Pay is based on hours billed. The minimum (if you were to bill zero hours) is $18/hour. We need you to be able to bill at a level significantly above that, which will require diligence, speed and automotive know how. Again, this is not a job where you can sit around and expect to be paid at a high level.
