Used Vehicle Diagnostic Technician (Volkswagen Experience Preferred) Covina Volkswagen is seeking an experienced Used Vehicle Diagnostic Technician to join our growing team. This position is focused primarily on vehicle diagnostics, inspections, troubleshooting, and repair recommendations . We are looking for a technician who can accurately diagnose mechanical, electrical, and drivability concerns. We have dedicated personnel who handle major R&R (Remove & Replace) and heavy repairs, allowing this role to focus on diagnostics and vehicle evaluations. Responsibilities Perform comprehensive used vehicle inspections. Diagnose mechanical, electrical, drivability, and performance concerns. Identify repair needs and provide accurate recommendations. Utilize factory and aftermarket diagnostic equipment. Inspect used vehicle inventory for safety and reliability. Perform Volkswagen-specific diagnostics and repairs when needed. Maintain accurate documentation of inspections and diagnostic findings. Work closely with management and service advisors to prioritize repairs. Qualifications Minimum 3 years of automotive diagnostic experience preferred. Volkswagen experience strongly preferred. Strong knowledge of vehicle electrical systems, drivability diagnostics, and scan tool operation. Ability to read wiring diagrams and service information. ASE certifications are a plus. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Strong work ethic and attention to detail.

Compensation & Benefits Pay:

$45.00-$60.00 per hour, depending on experience and diagnostic ability. Full-time position.
