You will be involved in both servicing and repairing Toyota vehicles up to Toyota's standards. Journeyman technicians will bring their own tools. Will consider non-Toyota experienced Journeyman Technicians who have 5 or more years of experience. Pay The Journeyman Technician Position has a Pay Scale consisting of the following elements and ranges. Wages include Base Hourly Rate of $34.00 per hour worked and an Assigned Unit Value (flat rate) of $40 to $80 per hour produced , Range is determined by years of experience, certifications (ASE or OEM) and ability to work independently in various aspects of automotive repair. Benefits 40-hour work week with 4/10 schedule (5 days off in a row every 3 weeks) Medical, dental, and vision insurance 401k retirement program Paid vacation, holidays, as well as sick leave Growth opportunities Factory training for all technician levels Will pay for ASEs as technicians progress and passes ASE certification testing Employee appreciation day every 3 months (catered lunch and awards to employees) Responsibilities Perform all maintenance and diagnostic work following the "Fix it right the first time" repair protocol Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning, etc. Inspect all vehicle repairs and maintenance prior to delivering to customer Communicate and photograph your recommendations to the service advisor clearly to ensure that customers are well-informed of any additional services or repairs Clearly document all work done, as well as any necessary recommendations Be willing to pursue further education and training as the industry changes Participate in required Company and equipment training Work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner Perform other duties as assigned Requirements Must have your own tools At least 5 years of relative experience Valid driver's license and DMV record in good standing Thorough, self-motivated, organized, clean, and require minimal supervision Excellent communication skills, verbal, reading, writing and computer proficient Proficient knowledge regarding; Diagnosis and repairs ASE certifications are a plus!
