Automotive Mechanic Conway Motorsports Modesto, CA Job Details Full-time $25 - $35 an hour 22 hours ago Qualifications GM vehicles Mechanic experience Mechanical repair Automotive diagnostic technologies Maintenance work Full Job Description Job Overview we are looking to add another mechanic to the team. we are a GM corvette performance shop. we specialize in corvettes c5 c6 c7 and c8 corvettes. we do work on other vehicles as well such as CTSV's, Camaro (gen 4, 5 and 6) SS and Zl1, Silverado trucks (typically Gen 5), sometimes we perform LS swaps on muscle cars as well. we are looking for someone who is extremely passionate about performance and cars, this specific position will start on our repair and maintenance side and we will train you exactly how we want things done, quality is everything. we are a small shop with a lot of work, our goal is a family atmosphere amongst employee's as we currently have. this position may start off as part time and roll into full time. Responsibilities heavy focus on diagnostics must be clean and organized (we do not like a messy shop) must be professional (on time, no drama, no BS) be a self starter (i do not want to have to watch over an employee constantly, i want to know things are done correct the first time around) most importantly a willingness to continue to learn and grow. if you are not constantly learning and pushing your self, you are not going to be a good fit for us. we are growing very fast. Requirements Proven experience working in the automotive repair industry Strong mechanical knowledge across various vehicle makes and models; familiarity with GM vehicles is a plus. electronic diagnostics is highly desirable.
