This role offers an exciting opportunity to work with a variety of vehicle systems, including diesel engines, transmissions, suspensions, and electrical components. As an integral part of our maintenance team, you will ensure vehicles are safe, reliable, and ready for action, contributing to the smooth operation of our business. We are committed to providing a paid position that values your skills and dedication. Duties Perform comprehensive repairs and maintenance on a wide range of vehicles. Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues using automotive diagnostics tools and schematics to identify root causes efficiently. Conduct routine vehicle maintenance such as oil changes, brake repairs, shocks & struts replacement, engine repairs, and suspension system repairs. Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other mechanical systems repair tools to complete tasks accurately and safely. Maintain detailed service records, complete auto estimating for repairs when necessary, and ensure all work complies with safety standards and quality expectations. Must bring your own tool box, average tools found in a tool box are sufficient. Skills Proven dealership or automotive repair industry experience with a focus on engine repairs, suspension systems, and brake systems. Strong mechanical knowledge of automotive electrical systems, powertrain components, and mechanical systems repair. Skilled in the use of hand tools such as wrenches, screwdrivers, impact guns; power tools; welding equipment; and other maintenance tools. Knowledge of automotive service procedures including oil changes, brakes, water pumps, timing belts, R&R engine, and shocks & struts replacement. Experience working with GM vehicles or similar makes is a plus; familiarity with auto estimating processes is advantageous. Excellent customer service skills combined with the ability to communicate technical information clearly to team members or clients.
