Job Summary Robertson's Ready Mix is seeking a skilled and dependable Trailer Mechanic to join our maintenance team in Rialto, California. The ideal candidate will have experience diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining trailers and related equipment, along with basic welding and fabrication skills. Responsibilities Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on trailers and related equipment. Diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, air brake, electrical, and suspension issues. Conduct inspections to ensure trailers meet DOT and company safety standards. Perform welding and fabrication repairs as needed. Repair or replace damaged trailer components and structural parts. Maintain accurate maintenance and repair records. Follow all company safety policies and procedures. Work effectively with shop personnel and operations teams. Qualifications 1-2 years of trailer mechanic experience required. Experience with trailer maintenance, repair, and inspections. Basic to intermediate welding and fabrication experience required. Knowledge of air brake systems, suspension systems, and DOT regulations preferred. Ability to safely operate shop equipment and tools. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Valid driver's license preferred. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in a shop environment.
