In this role, you will utilize your mechanical expertise and technical proficiency to diagnose, repair, and maintain a wide range of vehicles, ensuring optimal performance and safety. Your hands-on skills with automotive systems, electrical wiring diagrams, and diagnostic tools will drive customer satisfaction and uphold our reputation for quality service. Duties Perform comprehensive diagnostics using automotive diagnostic tools to identify issues across various vehicle systems. Repair and maintain powertrain components, including engines, transmissions, and related systems to ensure reliable vehicle operation. Conduct vehicle suspension system repairs, wheel alignments, and steering system diagnostics to optimize handling and safety. Interpret automotive wiring diagrams accurately for electrical system troubleshooting and repairs involving automotive electrical systems. Utilize hand tools and power tools efficiently to perform repairs on mechanical parts, electrical components, and vehicle bodywork. Diagnose and repair advanced driver-assistance systems (ADAS) such as lane departure warning, collision avoidance, and parking assist features. Maintain detailed service records, document repair procedures clearly, and communicate technical findings effectively to customers. Qualifications Proven dealership experience or extensive mechanic experience with a strong background in automotive repair. Proficiency in automotive diagnostics, schematics interpretation, and the use of automotive diagnostic tools. Mechanical knowledge across various vehicle systems including powertrain, transmission, suspension, electrical wiring, and diesel engines. Hands-on experience with vehicle maintenance routines such as oil changes, brake repairs, and fluid replacements. Familiarity with vehicle alignment procedures and suspension system repairs for enhanced safety performance. Ability to interpret automotive wiring diagrams accurately for electrical troubleshooting. Strong customer service skills with a focus on clear communication and professionalism during interactions with clients.
