Responsible for new units, starting from receiving to customer walk around as outlined in the PDI training procedures and guidelines. Responsible for organization and control of PDI area and service warehouse storage Capable of performing simple maintenance i.e.; oil changes, tire changes, etc Able to work under close supervision of PDI Manager and Service Manager. Abide by all dealership policies pertaining to the department. Follow company dress codes and be well groomed at all times. Any other specific duties deemed necessary for the overall success of the department and the dealership as a whole. Maintain a positive working relationship with all other employees.

NON-ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Some technical and / or mechanical aptitude. Familiarity of product lines sold in dealership. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is exposed to weather conditions present at that time. Work performed in a shop setting, as well as exposure to shop environment such as noise, dust, odors and fumes, chemicals and adhesives. Required to lift up to a minimum of 50 lbs. Regularly required to sit, stand, bend, kneel, reach, talk, hear, use hands and fingers, handle or operate objects, tools or controls. Occasionally required to stoop, kneel or crouch. Required vision include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision and the ability to adjust focus. Required to operate equipment and move vehicles in a safe manner at all times.

QUALIFICATIONS

Previous motorcycle or automobile service experience preferred. High School Diploma or equivalent. This position reports directly to the Service Manager.
