• Norm Reeves Honda Superstore Vista is seeking a dependable and experienced Used Car Technician to inspect, diagnose, repair, and recondition pre-owned vehicles, all makes, all models. This position requires the ability to perform smog inspections while also completing mechanical, electrical, maintenance, and drivability repairs on various makes and models. You will work closely with the Used Car, Service, and Parts departments to ensure every vehicle meets our dealership's safety, quality, and retail standards.

What You'll Do:

Perform smog inspections and complete required emissions-related repairs. Conduct comprehensive mechanical and safety inspections on pre-owned vehicles. Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and drivability concerns. Complete maintenance and reconditioning services, including oil changes, brakes, tires, batteries, and fluid services. Identify and clearly document repairs needed to meet dealership safety and retail standards. Complete approved repairs accurately and efficiently. Perform quality-control inspections before vehicles are released for sale. Accurately document inspection results, diagnostic findings, and completed repairs. Coordinate with the Used Car, Service, and Parts departments to keep vehicles moving through the reconditioning process. Follow dealership procedures and all applicable safety and regulatory requirements. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.

What You'll Need:
