Summary We are currently seeking an Automotive Technician to join our dynamic team at Southwest Motors. In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing vehicles, ensuring that our customers receive top-notch service and quality care. Your expertise will play a vital role in maintaining our reputation as a trusted dealership. Responsibilities Diagnose and repair automotive systems including engines, transmissions, brakes, and electrical systems. Perform routine maintenance services such as oil changes, tire rotations, and inspections. Utilize hand tools and diagnostic equipment to identify issues accurately. Provide estimates for repairs and communicate effectively with customers regarding their vehicle's needs. Maintain a clean and organized workspace to ensure safety and efficiency. Stay updated on automotive technology advancements and dealership practices. Requirements Proven experience as an Automotive Technician or similar role. Strong knowledge of automotive repair techniques and systems. Ability to use diagnostic tools effectively to troubleshoot issues. Excellent customer service skills with a focus on client satisfaction. Familiarity with GM vehicles is a plus but not required. ASE certification is preferred but not mandatory.
