Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and motivated Auto Mechanic to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide variety of vehicles and heavy equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety. Your expertise will help keep our fleet running smoothly, supporting both commercial and industrial operations. Responsibilities Perform comprehensive diagnostics on vehicles and heavy equipment using schematics, electrical testing tools, and mechanical knowledge to identify issues accurately. Conduct repairs on transmissions, brakes, suspensions, hydraulics, air brakes, shocks & struts, and other mechanical systems to restore full functionality. Maintain and service automotive electrical systems, HVAC units, diesel engines, and vehicle systems for trucks and farm machinery. Operate heavy equipment such as excavators, cranes, forklifts, and tractor-trailers safely and efficiently during repair or maintenance procedures. Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, soldering techniques, and fabrication skills to execute repairs or modifications as needed. Follow detailed schematics and technical manuals to troubleshoot complex mechanical or electrical issues with precision. Perform tire services, alignments, wheel balancing, and general vehicle maintenance to ensure safety standards are met. Assist with equipment repair and maintenance tasks involving industrial machinery or heavy-duty vehicles to maximize operational uptime. Experience Proven experience working as an auto mechanic or heavy equipment technician in a dealership or industrial setting. Strong background in automotive diagnostics with familiarity in dealing with transmissions, suspensions, hydraulics, electrical systems, and diesel mechanics. Hands-on experience operating heavy machinery such as excavators, cranes, forklifts, or similar equipment is highly desirable. Knowledge of schematics for electrical wiring diagrams and mechanical systems repair is essential. Demonstrated ability to use hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and fabrication techniques effectively. Prior experience working with farm machinery or industrial equipment is a plus. Excellent customer service skills combined with the ability to communicate technical information clearly to clients or team members.
